The total process took way to long about 3 months. I had 2 family members buy and sell a house and buy two more houses faster than the refinance. There was vary little commutation the process seams to run on a 2 week cycle. So any issue will slow the process by at least 2 weeks. I used then because they had my original loan was with them. And I thought this would be a fast process.

Better communication in a timely matter. There was information that was very important that we should have received with plenty of notice, which we received the day of or less.

We had a lack of follow up from Stephen and the New American Funding team. Weeks would go by without a follow up or advisement of status, so we set reminders for ourselves to follow up weekly. After weeks of delay, when documentation was finally sent, there were errors on them. The lack of customer service was disappointing.

His communication could have been better with clients. I am a new, first time home owner and I wouldn't recommend new home owners his way since I felt he lacked patience with them. And sometimes specific questions were left unanswered between texts.

Having refinanced in the past and it going smoothly , I can honestly say this was by far the most stressful process. Josh dropped the ball in communication. This caused my funding to be delayed and the process taking almost 4 months to complete. I had also requested a cash out and was approved because of the large amount of equity in my house. But because my hours were cut for 2 months early in the year due to covid-19 , the company decided that I couldn't have the cash out. Very unhappy.

Two weeks prior to closing we had requested information on when the appraisal was scheduled. All we were told is "It's due on XX day" over and over despite pleas from all parties involved. Closing was delayed a week because the appraisal wasn't scheduled until two days before the original closing date. We should have been advocated for more or at the very least had been told the closing date was unrealistic much sooner than two days prior to closing.

Wrong name on my first application, Wrong SS number on first two sets of documents, Unreturned phone calls and texts, Multiple requests to me for the same information, No road map for the process of the loan (had no idea of where we were in the process), Rush rush to finish loan process because deadline was fast approaching, .......90 days plus to close the loan.............. Good Lord this was the most difficult refi I have ever experienced and I have done a few for myself and my mother.

Limited communication. No availability on the weekends. It's real estate how can you not have service on the weekends. Sandra is great when you can reach her but that is basically Tuesday through Thursday.
