There was times where information they wanted from us wasn’t really clear or wanted the same information multiple times. I’m not sure if it was because of COVID. We didn’t have a bad experience, only wish we could have reached people when we called versus correspondence via text or email.

You folks at the mortgage company did a good job. It was my first experience providing information on-line and I had limited computer resources. I had to make several trips in. Folks were helpful. A name change to a trust required extra work. You all pulled through. The big glitch was the underwriter’s last minute call for more information. It doesn’t take a crystal ball to see in advance what needs to be seen. It would be helpful to get those questions out in there he beginning.

Everything was going great until my first closing date which was missed. Then the next two dates that were set we're also missed , finally we closed on the 4th date that was set. This was due to the USDA loan approval system being severely backed up and delayed through the state. Just wished we could have got all the paperwork and files submitted earlier so we wouldn't have been in such a time crunch at the last minute to close and move out of our rental property into our new home.

The lines of communication between the loan officer, processor, and underwriting need to be more precise. We sent the same financial information several times that cost time and money. I understand that the type of loan can be tedious and time consuming but if there was 100% effort placed on the front end there would have been no need to push back a closing date, which caused undue hardship...I am however grateful that we were able to finally close. Thanks!
