Not being lied to about the paying $0 in closing cost. I ended up paying about $600 in closing cost. I didn't mind paying out of pocket but just wish he was upfront with me about it. I'am very happy with my new loan and interest rate. I have nothing bad to say about the loan I was given.. The main issue is the lack of communication. I have an email sent over now about my loan number that I need for homeowners insurance and have not yet received a response.

I feel the team was unresponsive and unorganized. I was asked for the same docs several times over and was not communicated with on issues in a timely fashion. I had to ask for the appraisal several times before I finally received it.

We had to sign 3 times, which was very inconvenient. Communication was very inconsistent to say the least.

The lack of communication was horrible and the timeframe told for closing and funding was completely inaccurate. Emails were ignored, text messages were ignored and voice messages were ignored. We were initially contacted by DeAundrue for our refinancing needs. We decided to go with another lender and DeAundrue kept calling us. He finally called us told us that NAF was going to waive all lender fees. We then decided to go with him and NAF. Worst decision ever.

Unfortunately the level of service throughout the entire process was extremely unorganized, very little communication. Processors as well as loan officers all on different pages. I would not refer any additional buyers at this point.

I am very sorry for the poor review. I never give them, but this was easily the worst business transaction of my life. Too important of a transaction to feel like I was a nobody. Did not feel respected throughout the process and unfortunately, will take my business elsewhere the next time I look into mortgage products. Sorry, but I am just telling the truth...

We received misinformation and end result was different than what was initially said. In the end we only went through with the modification because it did reduce our rate and payment. I have not been impressed with New American Funding since the start.
