Damien was great at first but sat on our appraisal for a week, almost costing us our house and making us pay an extra $2,000. I could maybe understand this had we not been calling him everyday and asking him if it was in yet. Even after this, we probably could’ve had a better experience had he chose to communicate with us and continue to work with us but he chose to just avoid our phone calls and ignore us, even after or loan almost fell through in underwriting.

After going through this from beginning to end I now know it is more of a assembly line and no real connection. I felt like a number. The one and only time I called and talked to Patrick he seemed annoyed with me. Towards the end, it was more of I am done with you good by attitude. Walked out the door at about 5:00 am and found almost $30,000 wo of checks on my porch. That night we had a wind storm and am very surprised they didn't blow away. (And I can't finish this review do to to many words )

We were told incorrect information on multiple occasions, which made the whole process a lot more stressful and difficult (not only on us, but also the realtor). We are first time home buyers, and there were many aspects of the loan that were not explained to us. We gave our information plenty of time in advance, but we had to push back closing due to the paperwork not being what we asked for.

This loan required about six months to close. The credit rating was the client was over 800. Systemic issues on rather trivial matters became a nightmare. Impossible at times to resolve issues outside my control. The interest rate was upped from our original agreement, an ethical issue in my opinion.

Classic bait and switch on a low rate, then the process stalled long enough to end up changing the deal so I was $6k out of pocket more than the original offer. They claimed there were delays in hearing back on employer verification, when in reality, those pieces came near the end of the lock and the delays came long before that part.
