Robert is a very nice person. I felt that with closing approaching him and his team should had made sure the file was ok. Not being close to a lender was a hard transaction. Then there was the blame game. I was really upset with that. Here in Texas we stay in constant contact with title, lender, sellers realtor and buyers, Which is how it was suppose to be till after closing. I wish every lender would treat every buyer as there only one.

Jarrod was not really in touch with us - his assistant Deborah was much more helpful and responsive. We were not kept well informed about the status of things at the beginning of the process and I had to reach out about rate lock issues a few times. However, the rate we got was fabulous although I think it might have been lower at the time we closed and we were not offered the lower rate.

Towards the end of the process, there was a lack of communication and updates were sparce. Come to find out, after speaking directly to the title company, that I was portrayed in a negative light. The title company was told that I refused to provide documentation and that was simply not true.

Working with Marti went fine. We were disappointed in the way the title search and closing was handled. I don’t remember agreeing to your title lawyer. I received a form with a company I supposedly had chosen. That wasn’t true. I emailed and said I wanted a different lawyer. I was told to scratch through that one and put who I wanted. The end result was I cancelled the closing, but a lawyer arrived at my house unannounced. We felt pressured to use him because our rate lock would be up soon.
