Six months to close a 60 day escrow. Items that should have been brought up in the beginning, waited until 2 days before closing. Zero communication from anyone. I instigated all communications. Would I ever use you again? Absolutely not. And I will tell everyone I know not to use you. This was a disgrace for you and your business. Just look over the loan, that will tell you everything.

Mike is very professional, but he made many mistakes that were very costly and could have easily been avoided. He misinterpreted the documentation needed by the underwriter, leaving me somehow missing 10 different documents on the business day before closing. He is very difficult to reach by phone (both office and mobile) - and not just for me, but for everyone else involved in the process. He failed to provide me needed information about homeowner's insurance, wiring instructions, and more.

The communication was lacking. We had to change the contract because it wasn’t read through and an important piece of information was overlooked. Which pushed closing. Also the company messes up the closing docs and we had over a 2 hour closing, while we waited for the lender to send us new documents. The transaction just was not smooth.

Once the process was lived from Tyler to Leia the loan processor it went down hill. I was not communicated with by the processor. My client was very frustrated with her as she stated that Leisa would get her and another client confused. Leisa did not do all that she could to make sure that the time line of everything was where it needed to be. She never responded to my emails. Tyler did what he could but I would not refer New American funding to another client. Very unorganized.

My overall experience would have been better if Tyler and the rest of New American Funding believed in keeping their word. The whole time we were in the loan process Tyler repeatedly promised us to match a rate that we had in writing from another bank but when it came time to lock in he backed down on that. Even though we had emails with Tyler stating “absolutely, no problem!” He wouldn’t do it and at that point we didn’t have time to switch loan companies to secure the property we wanted.
