With us being overseas having that communication would have been great. We did not receive too many updates during the loan process. I would have to message them to get any updates. When I had questions about the loan some times they would go unanswered and I would have to resend my question just to get a slight answer that my wife and I did not understand. There were times where we also had to refill out and resend paperwork because they did not explain what all they wanted on the forms.

I did not really have a problem with Eric Glick. I had problems with his assistants. The made my home buying experience very unpleasant. They talked down to me and made me summit the same paperwork over and over again. I had to sign copies of paperwork already signed over and over again. The emails that were sent to me were very condescending. I actually went to another company for the loan.

Communication process was very disorganized and did not maintain a professional business process. At times, staff is pushy, and abrasive. There are lots of gaps in communication to the borrower about process and things needed. There were still items being requested after closing had already taken place, with the “threat” of not funding the loan. I would not recommend New American lending, nor would I chose them in the future.

This is an overall rating. To much miss communication, documents being miss handled had to submit multiple times. The company failed to provide clearly what documents will be needed prior to closing which resulted in refi loan getting defunded. Overall the company was really disorganized.

I had to frequently call Rayan to check on the status of my loan. She was not contacting me with routine updates. The closing was a debacle. I was being asked to sign things the day of closing that had to be back dated. Then, the notary sent to my house was was not given the closing disclosure. I had to sign that a day later. When I asked Rayan for an explanation...she never responded. But now it’s 11/12 and I had to sign another document for post closing with the date of 10/16. Escrow still not

While I'm happy that the refinance has been completed, the customer service could have been better. Not once did I speak to Nichole verbally. Everything was handled via email and sometimes had to be followed up on after no answer. Attention to detail and better communication is also needed. Was sent 2 changed circumstances that needed to be signed with no explanation and wrong Closing disclosure sent for signature. Saving grace to this team is Brandi. She was a pleasure to work with.

Interdepartmental communication seemed like it was bad. Late in the process things were requested that should've been caught and requested early on. This delayed the closing by 16 days. Even up to 2 days prior to closing I had to get in touch with my old employer because employment verification was needed. This is something that was missed as well and should've been caught early on. When issues arose, like closing being delayed, I had to hear it through my lender only 5 days prior to closing.
