The staff is very friendly, but we never received return calls or answers to our questions. We left multiple voicemails. The staff was quick to tell us by email if we were holding things up though, usually because an email went to spam. This was our first time refinancing and we did not receive the help we needed. Had we not been so far in the process we would have gone elsewhere and will most likely use a different company in the future.

I had to educate this organization on how Veteran Home Loans work. I even had the VA call them on multiple occasions to walk them through the process. The communication was the most problematic. At near a week till closing date we found out that New American had did nothing to secure all the paperwork in order for us to close on. Essentially they allowed us to shop for homes with nothing done and no understanding that they dropped the ball. One of the worse experiences I had to endure and it only got worse trying to process the first mortgage payment. Don't count on this company to notify you via phone or email that there is a problem with your payment account before they saddle you with fees. If you're using a VA loan, stay far away from this lender, just stay away from this lender period. Right now I'm praying for a way to get someone else to manage this mortgage.

If Randy and is employees knew what documents to ask for up front because it was over a month of back and forth of them asking for random pieces from tax returns when all along they needed the whole tax return and it almost made me miss my deadline. I was also never told how my down payment would be processed till 2 days before closing which left me know time to get that together.

What a joke of a lender. The buyer of my property has been dragged through the ringer. I've never heard more excuses from "our underwriter just went on medial leave" to "we can't verify buyer's residency," even though no attempts to verify were disclosed or documented. After two extensions, many rescheduled closings, I'm just going to sum it by saying BEWARE OF THIS LOAN CONSULTANT's lack of experience and professionalism.

It’s a lot to say, but overall it was a horrible experience from the Beginning middle and even the end at closing. He was rude and dishonest. All the paper work was wrong even at closing. I almost gave up before and during closing. We still don’t have the emotion of getting a house and being a first home time buyer because it was so frustrating and the experience. I’m so tired of even mentioning his name that I get aggravated.

Not a lender that does his due diligence with clients. Pre qualifying letters mean nothing from this lender. I will will advise my clients not to accept an offer again where he is the lender.

Had my house under contract for 7 weeks and we were suppose to close on Tuesday 2/18/2020 I got a text from my realtor saying there was no longer a deal because this lender did not do his job in so many ways I have heard nothing but bad things about this lender as an investor and flipper if I ever see he is handling the financing on the deal I will immediately reject the offer !!!!!!
