As a Realtor working with this lender it’s been a headache. Buyers file in underwriting over a week and the only update given is it’ll take a few days. It’s been that and more. We are less than 5 days until closing. No answers. I will advise my clients against this lender on the future

Worst company on the planet! They bought my home loan from another company. Now since they can't find the paperwork I have to jump through all these hoops on the phone or via the many letters I get per week. Sadly I can't do anything about it since again they bought my loan.

Requested information through credit karma. They called me 5 times within 7 hours. After the 3rd attempt I told them I did not want them contacting me further. After assuring I was placed on the do not call list they continued to reach out same day. If they cannot follow easy instructions such as placing someone on do not call list, I would not trust them with anything.

A regrettable experience! Our appraisal came back astonishingly low due to condition and view. We contested this and the appraiser responded by saying that other homes were superior in condition and listed the addresses. it turns out that these are new homes so of course they are nicer. They also were not the same homes used for our appraised value. Lastly, it was another comment that was laughable. While trying to further explain the lower value the appraiser notes stated that another comp home offered a "superior view". Huh?? We are in a >$300k home with a typical view of other neighborhood homes and approved HOA landscaping. New American Funding basically shrugged their shoulders. We have decided to withdraw our application to refinance rather than debate this with them further. Stunning.
