They one star only because there no option to do less than that. These people are TERRIBLE! My son used them to purchase our house and it was a disaster. They have led my son on for weeks with a mortgage and did not write it correctly, which caused us to delay a closing. Mychael is inept and dishonest! The delayed closing also caused a subsequent closing cancellation. Documentation was never sent to the Title company and when it was brought to their attention that the mortgage was not correct (funding was all wrong) Mychael advised doing an addendum to the mortgage telling my son that it would not delay the closing. NOT TRUE! They then went and cancelled the closing and did not tell any of us. Buyer beware with this company!

Turns out someone entered the wrong figures in computer and made it look like my Debt ratio was to high. There is no way this is even possible. I own 6 homes and 2 that have no mortgage on them, Free and clear..Was told I would have an answer today...Guess what??!! Not!!!! Now its Monday again. I only wanted to do an equity line for 15,000.00 and got talked into doing a refinance. Do yourself a favor and stay away from New America Funding!!!
