Scott misrepresented information to me (and my RE Agent) regarding a conversation he had, or did not have. with the underwriter for my mortgage 3 to 4 weeks prior to the closing date. I discussed with Scott the closing dates for the sale of my condo and purchase of a new home, Less than 24 hours prior to closing he had the conversation with the underwriter which delayed my closing. Movers, flooring installation, cleaners were all delayed. At 65 years old I had to self move a household.

Communication with the office was not very good. I had to do most of the follow-up, there is no transparency. Loan officers should work with the buyers and communication is key.

Total nightmare Told closing in less than 60 days took over 95. Told could use appraisal we had then told we couldn’t. Appraisal report has at least 10 mistakes, no partial refund no one sent to redo the report. Supposed to be a higher loan amount because appraisal has property listed as 1 unit instead of 2 had to take a much lower loan. Phone calls and emails not returned in a decent time or not at all. Every hoop we jumped through there was one more and then one more and still one more.

I was led to believe that Kat would also be helping me obtaining a HELOC and this in fact, did not happen. Within a few days of the loan closing, she basically pushed me off to get HELOC financing on my own. Additionally, there were numerous times within the paperwork collection period, I was asked for the same documentation more than once. An example of this was the HOA statement. All in all, I thought the process was slow, inefficient, and misleading.

Zac needs to learn better communication skills. His responses were unacceptable. He needs to learn to take responsibility for his and his team’s mistakes. He needs to learn the ability to show empathy to customers rather than make excuses why he has not done his job. His workload is not my problem and my situation is not the same as someone else’s.
