I am furious at how dishonest you have been. It started out great, your team answering any questions, but that abruptly ended once we confirmed your business. Once you had my business it was nothing but a headache for me to reach you for any questions or concerns. On top of it all we had agreed on 3.375% with NO POINTS, instead of the 3.25 with half a point deal. Come to find out now, you sneaked in $1,419 in closing points. You will not have my business again nor will I refer you to anyone.

I had dealt with James McKibban the Branch Manager at New American Funding when he was with another firm. I have done over 25 real estate loans. Dealing with Mr. McKibban was the worst experience I have ever had. He is impossible to reach unless it is at the beginning when he is trying to get your loan. He does not return phone calls, has zero follow up. He promised items he never delivered, try to change terms etc.

James and his team lie to get business. They quote a lower rate and as your loans are closer to the end, they tell you a higher fees. They also promised me that they will change title of my property back to LLC. But upon chasing for months (& after they had obtained my business), they told me that they won't help me.

The worst experience of my life. No updates from these people. Every time I signed a disclosure it was not as we discussed. The process took almost 3 mos for a streamline. I regret even dealing with this company.

I found the business practices of this institution to be discriminatory at best, and systemically flawed in areas such as service delivery, process management, change management, and problem resolution. Let me be clear, I am absolutely stating that the manner in which my file was managed fails to meet even the minimum expectations. Due to poor customer advocacy, I will need to proceed with additional maneuvers to resolve the issue and make myself whole again.

Kelly lied to me. He told me that escrow was a VA requirement for a VA loan. I relied on his knowledge & expertise. After my loan closed, I found out through the VA, that escrow is not required for a VA loan. When I asked NAF to remove my escrow, they refused & said “they require” escrow for VA loans. Yet they do not require escrow for other types of loans. I know this as my prior NAF loan did not require Escrow. Bottom line, is that I was lied to by Kelly & NAF discriminates against VETS!

There is no communication at all from Michael he is totally worthless. We had to go to Adam Rose who too a little better care of us. Working with this company and with Prominent Escrow is the worst experience that I have ever had for a refinance and I will never use them again or recommend them.
