I felt as though there was a lack of communication; especially in the initial stages of acquiring the loan. I also felt like there were things that were not followed up on until the last minute; specifically the appraisal.

This is not against Dayna personally but the way the loan took forever and contacting someone on the phone seemed at times like there was a lot of communication issues. I had to contact and get information and I get that but 2 and a half months of trying to get a loan closed is horrible. I had unexpected costs that was not disclosed up front like there should have been. I felt like I was pa**ed around between 3-4 people and I did not have one solid person that I feel I could count on. I do not like to complain but was not a happy or smooth ride closing out this loan. Again, the way its setup and the time to get someone on the phone most of the time was a pain in the a** to do. I would get a questioned email and I would respond and then I had to wait most of the time for a reply from all the different people. I was called by a manager and he told me the I'm sorrys and so on, but that did not change the lack of time and communication issues I had and it was so stressful!

Communication. This process took 50+ days to complete. There were spaces of 7 days, 10 days, 14 days of absolutely no communication from anyone. I was almost always the one to initiate communication and had to keep asking for status updates. And why is this survey addressed to John? I did EVERYTHING regarding this process.

I wish the communication was better, there were several times when I tried to reach out to the lender and she would either unreachable or flustered because I was asking too many questions. Being a first time home buyer, I was expecting to have a better support/understanding personnel. There were also times when the lender and assistant were not on the same page which was frustrating for me as the buyer.

I feel Karen did a good job. She was trustworthy and responsive. What I wasn’t happy with was your underwriting division when it came to the loan itself. The information they requested, in my opinion, was far too great based on the position that we are in financially. Again I trusted Karen but I don’t think she was working with the best underwriter. That person appeared to be a young underwriter with little experience. I would not use your company again.

Closing on time. Having more ducks in a row prior to closing - example, asking for COO evening before closing. On a positive note, He always answered his phone and was easy to get ahold of.
