This was the worst experience I have ever had buying a house. We were suppose to pay zero dollars down and ended up having to pay 8800 dollars out of pocket. That would have been fine, if I would have known about it from the beginning. We kept asking if we needed money down, and every time Elizabeth said no. We were also expected to close on the 12 and ended up closing on the 31st because somebody dropped the ball. Also Marlynn and Elizabeth had unprofessional emails.

We never heard from Brad during the process. All of the communication was done, and done very well, by his Processor Magen and Senior Processor Tina, but there was nothing from Brad himself. In a review of Brad, I have little data. In a review of Brad's team, they were on par with other great communicators I've worked with in the past.

Amendment to my previous post, the end result was OK, just wish the communication would have been better, to be scolded in a email for expressing my feelings was not good. Then to be told I email too much and in the 200-500 emails received mines would not be read. SMH

Communication leading up to closing was fine. However, several days before closing, the cash needed to close was communicated incorrectly several times- even when questioned. Ultimately, this put us in a very bad position as we were required to come up with thousands more in cash on the spot during closing that we had not anticipated. Needless to say, this has put a huge strain on us.

My dissatisfaction is with New American Funding underwriting and the processors I had to work with. I requested refi of my loan with NAF starting back in November of 2020 after receiving a letter from NAF saying we have lower rates for our current customers. We had been a customer of NAF for 7 years. Never had a late pay! Loan didn't close until 3/26/2021. If it were not for Chris Loughnane, I would have gone to another mortgage company. NAF service was terrible!

Too much of the process is 'automated' and abounds with a lack of information to the use as to how to navigate that system. The prompts on the electronic application are faulty leading the applicant to enter incorrect or inappropriate information. The automated instructions for access to the automated system, were inadequate, and not very informative. Still have not received payment packet. It was probably sent to the wrong address, the address of the residence, as opposed to our mailing address
