Lots of confusion between senior processor and loan officer. Example woulbe be asking for credit pulls when already had on file. Confusion about how to wire money for closing leading to costly delays and extra costs. Final closing numbers were signficantly different than closing number sent day before. Had to sign extra paperwork after closing because not sent with closing packet. Loan officer not available by phone during closing on weekend. Easily my worst refinance experience.

It would have been nice to be notified that the person we had dealt with since day 1 no longer worked there. Also, we had to ask questions to find out information instead of being told what was going on. There were delays around every corner towards the end, which is the most stressful time.

The problem was not with Joseph. It was with the underwriter asking for things that had little to do with the process. They kept saying this is the last thing we need just to add 5 more documents to drag out the process. If I had to do it over again I would never choose New American Funding. All the people that I had to go to to get the documents I was being asked for commented that they had never been asked for these documents from any other loan applicant. Thinking about using New Funding? RUN

Would have been better had I not been given inaccurate information about the terms of the loan from the beginning (interest rate, type of loan my dwelling qualified for, deadlines for rate lock-in). Would have been better if the agent and others responded to urgent emails in a timely manner. Would have been better if the loan documents did not have so many errors at closing. Would have been better if Kalee had taken responsibility for her mistakes and the stress/inconvenience they caused me.

Arnold came on in the last 2 weeks so not all his fault as Nate quit. But this was a refi and I already had my loan with you.?? You sent me 5 letters saying that someone had submitted inquiry into refinancing. The last 2 letters came 6/8 on the same day, really. As smooth as the original loan went this one has been a fiasco.

Honestly, once Serei Prak came into the mix, we were very happy with the process. Serei was always timely with responses, was able to communicate firm dates and and very knowledgeable/helpful with any concerns/questions we had. She's a keeper and prior to her guidance, process was a bit confusing and uncertain. thx
