Scott did not explain the refi process well and could not deliver the rate he verbally promised when we closed. He talks very fast using the terms that are industry lingo and does not do a good job of explaining the process for a layman.

The communication was poor. I understand that some things take time and I would have appreciated more transparency and honesty about the time it would take to complete the process. Once it was almost completed not being honest that the paperwork was not ready to sign and I took off of work early 2 times due to "thinking it would be ready" then not calling to inform me that it wasn't ready, or calling me when I was in the office waiting to finalize.

Vy was regularly unavailable or unresponsive with providing updated pre-approval letters for offers we wanted to submit. Because of that, we missed out on deals. Also, I felt that multiple times she dropped the ball for our buyers. The last time she didn't communicate with the buyers it held up the closing, which was very disappointing to all. This is my 2nd deal with New American Funding, and I will highly recommend that future buyers use a different company.

The first two weeks of loan origination was great. Then the process moved past document collection and communications virtually stopped. I texted to check in and was told nothing from me was needed. In initial talks, items like which cards were to be paid off were discussed in casual terms with mention that I could adjust at a later date. That date never came and when I inquired, the loan had already progressed. Closing was delayed multiple times, Haleigh Preziosi was very helpful, in contrast.

I never had any communication with Tania, I was never given a closing date however I was charged for an extension for the closing date.

Comunication and answering emails and messages. There were moment were I didnt even know what was going on. Summer the other lady that was part of my process disappeared with out notice. All of a sudden I stated working with Dave. Dave was great he always answered. The other thing I did not like is that when I went to the lawyers office he was sent the incorrect file. That made the process at his office longer than what it shoul been. Over all i just think comunication could of been better.

I asked questions and received inaccurate information. Questions about out of pocket costs? I’ve paid over $4000 and was told that I’ll receive a check to cover the expense. Question about the $10,000 increase to my home loan, told us receive a check to apply to the principal..NOTHING! I spent $4000, increased by balance another $10,000, just to save $300 a month! Never believe a salesperson!
