Communication was lagging. I know that many people were/ are refinancing, but every single item that was requested on the website, I completed and uploaded within 24 hours of the request. I was never told I needed a termite report- EVER- until the senior loan processor indicated it was missing as she was finishing up. Finally, my energy lease with Vivant caused a delay as well. It would have been nice to know these things instead of the correspondence coming from me as to the loan status.

The fees and rate ended up to be more than discussed.. I wasn't aware my docs were in town and ready to sign until I got a call from the notary.

More information more timely. I had to call to understand status several times and was not told until the end of the process that I would be issued checks for the creditors I wanted to pay off with the cash out. This has been very inconvenient to say the least. Cost me additional money to mail these checks with tracking due to the large amounts.

The process itself was good. However, after the loan funded the Title company sent me physical checks that apparently I supposed to send to the companies that hold the debt to be payed off "the same way I usually make my payments". Well, I have NEVER sent a physical check to ANY of the companies as I ALWAYS pay everything using the internet (they transfer the amount form MY bank account). Also, there are internet lending companies involved that don't even have the ability to send them physical checks :( This is a HORRIBLE process that I have never encountered, nor even heard of before, and therefore did not expect. This is a problem. I would NEVER recommend ANYONE to use your company that seems to be stuck in the 1950s :(

It would have been better if it had not taken 14 weeks to complete this closing, and the delay was due to typing errors which resulted in starting over. Blake was friendly and timely in his communications and I appreciated that.

Give me the right paper work . I started being told it would cost 400 dollars and ended up being almost 3000 dollars . I liked Blake and he kept me informed . But the rest of the process was terrible.
