Though Tonya was efficient, effective, and achieved results, which I greatly appreciate, communication was a big problem. This was a very complex situation so communication was particularly important. I would have preferred to have spoken with someone who could communicate in a manner someone who doesn't work in her field could understand. There was also a hiccup at the end that could have been avoided with better communication.

Tonya was extremely effective, and got the job done in a very expeditious manner. There were a lot of outlying factors that made this a difficult process for us that were outside of Tonya's control (geographical restrictions, technological issues, communication struggles, first time home buyers, etc...), and Tonya was never overtly unprofessional. However, she seemed take for-granted that we were not experienced in all the process, and I felt that she took some things personally.

Sema and Gine seemed to have lack of communication with each other. Asked my buyer and myself for the same documents multiple times. I am just an advocate for local lenders in my area.

Lack of communication and took a week and half to get back to us with questions we had and also with the loan process and asking for things last minute when it was submitted a week prior and did not get to it until last minute. Need to be more clear on what exactly what you are asking for

The time factor hindered most deadlines. Communication wasn’t always easy. The situation with the HOA wasn’t handled correctly. I told everyone when I went for my interview on December 27th that the property manager had no idea that there were questions that were holding up the process and the VA didn’t even receive the first request for a waiver until January 12th. All the blame was put on the HOA when New American should have been held responsible and I should not have been penalized by paying down points because of lack of proper follow through.

I understand that this is normal for you and that you do it everyday but, someone like myself doesn’t know the process and needed a little more communication than given. I called Bri several times and left messages and did not receive a call back until the night before closing. I feel that if there was better communication I would not have had to rush to get things completed that night and morning of close. I also feel that you guys had all things needed the day before close and we were still waiting at 4:45 to have documentation sent over and closing was scheduled at 4:00. This made the lawyers office have to wait on our closing and completed at 6:00 on a Friday. I believe that better communication is the key for the buyer to ease them and know the process and exactly what documentation is needed verses continuous emails,
