We have bought a home before in the last year and the run around we got this time was not pleasant. Every time we turned around something new was needed or denied. It got exhausting and overwhelming. Many times we planned to just walk away and rent instead, we went back on forth on it just based on our experience with the lender and under writer.

I am no longer a target customer. This whole experience was awful and poorly handled by the lender. By the time this loan closed I already had twice the funds necessary and didn’t need the loan! My credit score was over 800 and the lender was hung up over literally a few dollars. I need someone who understands my income stream and cash flow and net worth….and that’s not New American or the lenders you deal with. Over half of the funds I need were used to pay debt that is paid off monthly (credit cards), so now I have a bunch of checks going to pay on accounts that will have zero balances! I still don’t know how to access my funds. I intend to pay this off within two months and just write off all your fees. Lesson learned.

underwriter does not speak with u.... paper work u are sending in 3 or 4 different times. wait last minute for everything. was not a good experience after everything left from Patrick Jemerigbe.
