i was drawn to NAF by an advertisement stating no money down. I knew I could get a grant. I told her I had little to no money for down payment. I brought to her attention again she made it happen in August. The closing cost was issue. She said I needed 11k I told her not happening. I also told her my monthly payment had to be less $1,000. That didn’t happen either. It’s not that she made a mistake. Is that what she told me it would happen but it didn’t . Two days prior to closing she told me I have to come up with $2000 more. I don’t know where her head was at?. There’s no way I could do it. She said she’d go back in calculate or put it somewhere else. it was just too much. She could work wonders, and then she couldn’t. She could do it and then she couldn’t. That was my only issue with her. At the end, it worked out, but it’s the in-between that had me wondering what would happen next.

This was our first home purchase. The process was extremely new to us and we could have used more communication and deeper detail into what everything meant. Lack of prompt communication was a big thing for me.

It was memorabl, just not in a good way. I spent almost 2 weeks trying to keep my buyer and her seller together mentally while being told that things would be righted soon, we spent several days and into And through a holiday weekend without resolutio. it took the rest of the week after that holiday weekend and truthfully it felt like everyone involved quit working towards a resolution for the day the minute they decided one would not be reached in time for a closing that day. if This had been my first experience with you, my numbers wohld be lower in this review than they currently are .

After my appraisal came back lower, there was very little communication. I had to follow up several times and never really got an answer a to what would galen. Also the notary wasn't very familiar or informative with the forms I was signing. I had to sign them read later.

The professionalism and smoothness of the transaction itself was great. Nancy dealt mainly with my Transaction Coordinator for the support side of the process and thus, we did not a build a relationship with each other. I am also accustomed to seeing the lender at the closing table for moral support of our mutual client, especially when they are a first time home buyer as this one was. At the end of the day, our Client was happy to buy a home and that is the reward for the services we perform.

Please know..itwasn't Shane, it was NAF. Totally unorganized, last minute requests, very stressful for all parties involved. Closing was delayed several times.
