Answering the phone was pretty consistent, but we were expected to sign documents that were not on our terms at the beginning. Their information either had errors or changed information that we agreed to when we were supposed to sign. We signed when our terms matched with theirs.

Got the loan I needed, good price/APR, on time, able to buy the home. The goal was met. The team was large, and I did need Maggie, Cathy, and Title and Realtor folks to really step in when I needed help, but they did, so all went well.

Some information about my refi details were not shared with me as far as payment to my creditors. After about a week or so I finally received a call from New American regarding my mortgage payment and I was an to get the information i was looking for . But other than that it was ok

Jason's sales pitch was great. That's why we went with NAF. But then the people who processed the loan after were very unreliable. We had 2 other coordinators before we ended up working with Mona. Mona on the other hand was extremely pushy and would call multiple times, back to back, and expect immediate actions. In addition, our signing went wrong because documents were not prepared correctly and we had to reschedule and redo the whole thing. Communication throughout the process wasn't stellar. I would send emails that would not get a response or my questions would not be answered or the answer would be partial. I expected more professionalism.

Provide an accurate list of all documentation at thr the beginning of the process. after several attempts of providing my bank records I actually decided to give Meghann the sign in information to my bank account, let her access it and then immediately changed my sign in information. This was my idea, not hers but it seemed to be the only way to provide the information because of the dates of my monthly statements. The request for information changed a few times between bank accounts and investment accounts. I just found the whole process to be confusing.

A phone call explaining that points needed to be purchased to get to certain interest . Not by opening an e-mail & reading it had already been done and cost not even discussed. She did answer her phone after hours and explained it.
