The underwriting process was unbearable. I was left in the dark for most of the time. It took 3 months to close, chiefly due to underwriting's sluggish processing and refusal to give updates. I had some issues to fix during the process, but it should not create another 3 week delay for each issue. Randall, however, handled my account patiently and diligently. He was professional and courteous the whole way through. There wasn't much he could do about the sluggish processing times.

Once I had agreed to move forward with the loan, response time increased dramatically. I had to follow up several days after an inquiry to ask if there was someone else who could assist me. The initial process was good but I felt like once your company “had” me, the service decreased. It was not a totally negative experience, I would call it average.

The issues were in the final process. We were given the run around with closing dates and times. Even after arriving For the closing we were told the paperwork had not arrived with the title company and we may need to come back the next day after driving 45 minutes to the closing location. No issues with Mike Miller, but with the people who prepare the final documents.

There was a lot of rushing, also the amount for the lenders credit changed. It should have stayed the same even if the amount of the loan changes. Once you agreed on something it should stay that way.
