Hi - I had a good experience with Alyssa but her support staff was unorganized and created a lot of extra work for the closing company and was rude at times.

Overall my experience with Carlton Smith was satisfactory. He communicated well and addressed all of my questions/concerns. However, my experience with Marenda Hegler, Processor was not the best experience. I felt her communication and timing were poor and overall I just did not feel that I received the quality customer service from a processor that I have experience before with New American. This was my 2nd refinance and my 1st experience was much more pleasant.

10 days late on loan commitment. Closing postponed 4 hours due to error in paperwork after submitting to title company at 6pm the night before. At the end of the day, everything was settled and I appreciate the hard work but I think you guys just might be trying to do too much at once.

Better communication towards closing as to what documents were needed (i.e. verification of employment within 48 hours of closing) and all requirements for closing.

Buying or selling a home, or in my case doing both, can be a stressful experience for some people, I think what makes it stressful or scary for some is the money side and that's all in the lenders hands, so if there is not a good "people person" on that side it can make the buyer or seller uncomfortable. Timothy is a great person but I just wish there would have been more communication there, I was lucky to have great agents working on my side to relay a lot of information to Timothy
