When Kristen was on vacation I was unable to obtain any response for updates or questions that I had. I even called a manager who said he would pass my inquiries on but still no response. Also, even though I sent the purchase contract to NewAmerican someone did not put in the right closing date and we closed later than we should have. I also heard a processor tell my buyer that the flood insurance paid by the HOA covered the interior, which it does not. I liked Kristen, however.

Scott was insightful and had our best interest at hand. Refinancing was easy. We refinanced through the holidays at a very busy time. I have to mention that in my opinion, Scott’s support team needs communication improvement. During our process there was a time where communication was not clear, and it hindered our experience. Overall, Scott was available and a phone call away. We are glad we continued with the process.

Mr. Seago followed up with messages that were sent to me that I hadn't responded to and would likely have missed. It would have been helpful to hear back from him sooner at one point just before the holidays with regard to a wire transfer so I could have had more time to prepare for it to avoid an extra fee (although it was relatively small, it could have been avoided).

cool to refinance at a better rate. I wish we'd had more ongoing contact as the Fed Funds Rate continued to drop - I feel like we should have/could have been offered a better deal I was thrown by how often other representatives reached me using Chris's email address. Once we'd agreed to refi with New American, Chris was actually pretty hands off, which I guess is just how it goes, but it felt a little like being in the pipeline. Not warm and fuzzy, if that's what you were going for.
