New American Funding is one of the worst mortgage companies out there. They neglected to pay my escrow causing my insurance to lapse and they have held my mortgage payments not applying them as received. I would not do business with this company especially if you care about interest and paying your loan off early.

The loan officer located at this branch (Downey) never returned my calls. She never assisted us on a huge error. Didn't see a reason to not communicate with us since she assisted with the sale of our home. I don't recommend New American Funding. They never returned our calls or our emails. -1 star

The worst experience I've had with a mortgage company. Being required to validate a liability that doesn't exist is absurd. People are better off going somewhere else for a loan.

Sandra Ruiz takes forever processing loans. I would not recommend this mortgage lender. She avoids calls and does not return calls.
