There was communication at the beginning of the transaction, but as we got closer to the original closing date, I stopped get responses from Catherine or her team. 3 days before the 1st scheduled closing date, me nor my buyer had heard if we were closing or not. An automatic email was the communication we received. The entire team seemed to be very uninformed this file. V Pipkin reached out to me and had very little patience and even less customer service skill.

We had to send documents multiple times as well as our realtor and the title company had to, the whole process was disorganized. At closing the title company shared that they have never had a more difficult time with the process either. Buying a home and relocating with a family is stressful enough without having your lender ask you time and time again for the same documentation you have already sent to 2-3 people at the lending company. We were sending documents still on the day of closing!

There was no support or communication from Matt through the entire process resulting in missing and having to rescedule our closing 3 times. We were charged a fee to buy down the interest rate (I'm asssuming as a result of our closing date delays. I'm not sure since the fee was never disclosed/communicated. This person will simply not give me a loan estimate in order to lock in a rate. I have been asking for the past 2 weeks! It was very frustrating dealing with this guy. He delayed for weeks waiting for the interest rate to go up and for the closing date to be near so that I can't switch lenders. I highly do not recommend.

Unable to contact Tim by phone for weeks prior to closing. He unlocked my loan without communicating that and changed the terms from no points or fees to several thousand dollars in points and fees. When I tried calling during the document signing and everyday after to ask for a return call he never responded. I needed to feel comfortable with the terms and he was unreachable for weeks by phone. He did return emails but would not pick up calls.

Today I spoke with the above mentioned lender. I was later contacted with my pre-approval information and my rates. The rates were higher than quoted by other companies, I advised that I would not be going with the loan. I was then asked who is giving me better rates. I was then advised that I am being mislead and that will most likely change. It felt very unprofessional at the end when I advised I wasn't going to go with them, up until that point everything had went well. Just make sure you weigh your options.
