A phone call or email when I reached out would have been nice. Felt he was misleading.

It started out very well and Sarkis Organyan was super helpful and friendly. Every time I called he picked up the phone, but as time went on I couldn't get in touch with him and his mailbox was full so I couldn't leave a message. It also took months for me to finalize the loan. Then just before we were to close they added a fee and didn't tell me about it and sent it over for me to sign the document thinking I wouldn't see it. Then once I closed I never got any documents. DON'T GO WITH THEM!

I was robbed of a positive experience of being a first time home buyer. I felt the process could have been better. The company is disorganized. There was very little communication with Melissa and I was directed to speak to her assistants, which were frustrated because I knew very little about purchasing a home. I chose them because she had great reviews. Read all the reviews because the negative ones are closer to the truth. Please use another lender that cares about your dream of being a home owner.

Christopher and his team made no effort to communicate changes in my loan to me. I called numerous times, and got no return calls. My emails went unanswered. When I finally did get to talk to someone, Christopher seemed like he didn't care that his team had been ignoring me. I definitely would not recommend Christopher Kim and his team, because I felt like I was unimportant to his entire team. Communication is required for a customer, and Christopher Kim seemed like he couldn't be bothered.

There was a lack of communication from the beginning to the end of the process. Jill was a very nice and pleasant person so this has nothing to do with her personally but professionally there some struggles in getting information and direction. For my first home purchase, I expected to be informed of every step and the next steps. Most times I had to initiate communication. Even when I received communication, it wasn't that informative. I didnt even know how much to pay for closing.

Closing was a nightmare. I was contacted by 2 separate notary’s without knowing who I was scheduled to meet until 10 minutes AFTER my appointment time. Multiple items in the closing documents were never discussed with me nor was I counseled as described in the closing documents. I will not be using you again for our new home purchase in the near future.

This process was the most unorganized and unprofessional experience I've had with a lender. My closing date was schedule and rescheduled multiple times with zero communication. On 2 occasions I was given a closing date, drove back home from out of town and no one showed up to the closing. Due to the constant delays on the lenders end I had to submit the same documents 4 or more times and an additional hard inquiry on my credit was ran without my approval, unpleasant would be an understatement.

Micheline’s communication was very poor. She rarely answered my phone calls and my client was very disappointed with her performance. I never write reviews for loan offers or agents however her unprofessionalism was absolutely unacceptable. Her attitude was terrible and she did everything last minute. Worst experience with a loan officer I’ve encountered. I’m truly happy it’s over and I’ll never use her or New American again. Just Terrible!
