One of the worst transactions with a lender I have experienced in my career. Buyer nor Buyer's agent should not have to pull information and updates about loan status, which is what we had to do every step of the way. Always seemed to catch LaShonda unprepared when I requested an update. Wasn't given update on appraisal until 5 days before closing when I asked for results. Was told the appraisal was good, but found out night before closing it was $70K low. Huge mistake not making us aware

I was referred to NAF from my realtor. Initially my relationship with LaShonda started out well. She was responsive and maintained open communication. But in the final weeks leading up to my closing she was absent & not responsive. Horrible experience!

-Communication was not clear throughout the process. -Kim was the preferred lender yet did not communicate with the builder to establish things -Slow moving once we finalized a date, pushing back our closing -Paperwork was not submitted to the closing attorney on time - they received the closing paperwork 3 hours late -Kim made excuses throughout the process and took things personally when we were upset -Overall, this was a very painful experience and we would not recommend as a lender

Kim stated that she would walk us through the mortgage pre approval process. Once she ran the credit application, she quit communicating with us. She lacks professionalism and needs to work on her communication skills. She stated she would provide us with an action plan, whereas we could qualify for a mortgage, within 6 months. Totally unprofessional.....Never provided action plan and will not respond to emails, texts or calls.

I am shocked! Who is this person? I closed a loan with Kim Arrington, who I love and worked hard with me and the buyer to make my last closing happen. I do not know who this person is.

Lack of communication, wrong documents added into our file to pass through underwriting, on the day of closing our file was not ready and we had to wait 4 hours until the file was ready.

The service provided by Kim Arrington and her staff absolutely horrible. On my closing we were still receiving loan paperwork that should have already been processed. (As i was signing previously sent documentation). I was told that I was getting downpayment assistance and was blindsided when I was told that it is actually a loan when signing. My questions still have not been answered and I will not recommend this company to anyone. They truly ruined my first homeownership experience.
