Process took too long (nearly 6 months start to finish), and I had to call out mistakes made on the paperwork. I was going to cancel, but Moe worked with me to get the contract adjusted, and I was finally able to get the terms that made sense for my situation.

I went through 3 loan officers during my loan and it would always set it back every time. The time frame that this caused was unacceptable, but I still followed through with everything that was ask of me. Each time I got everything that was ask for done,there was always something else that I had to do.

Andrew was kind during the process. I would have appreciated more attention to detail about what we discussed. I also would like a process of communication between departments. Since I was refinancing with New American and already had a loan through them, It caused a lot of stress receiving phone calls telling me to make my payment.

delayed many times. Took too long for the loan approval, just couldn't what documents they wanted. I believed this the faults of the underwriters. For instance, when the loan amount was reduced, I was not told till closing

What would have made it better would be better communication. I didn't hear from Jay or Michael during our closing process, only Albert. Albert was awesome. When we experienced hiccups (NAF personnel miscommunicating with one another and not being prepared), Albert is the one who fought for us. During our refinancing we received the following miscommunication notices: 1 - we wouldn't pay anything out of pocket or if we did, it would be 1800 (we paid 3100 in closing costs). 2 - Our right to cancel wasn't provided during our first round of notary signing when it should have been. 3 - we never were emailed or mailed the correct wiring information, which led to us wiring our closing costs to the wrong destination. Regrettably, neither Jay nor Michael reached out to us during this entire process of mishaps and miscommunication. Only Albert did. He would call, text, email, and work with us to get this sorted out. I'm not happy with the experience my wife and I had--it was our first refinancing--and it was God awful. I hope NAF fixes their line of communication, or we will be shopping elsewhere the next go around. DDuring
