Barb was efficient, always available and willing to help us out even before we were sure we would go with her and New American Funding. The overall experience however, was dampened when it seemed our unique situation was viewed the same way as most home loan situations tend to be. We had a uncommon situation where we could have things come together more smoothly than they did. In the end, it all came together and we were all to close on time.

Larry was great. Support staff just Ok. Kept needing to confirm employment status. Very frustrating and unprofessional the way my HR kept getting contacted. Would not take The Work Number info. Someone that has originated multiple loans with NA Fin i expected better more coordinated service.

I learned from Mark Cooper that there will be no additional payment for refinancing but I ended up paying more than 3000 dollars. This he didn’t clarify when I notified him why the loan amount was increased. Unlike my previous lender they asked me to provide so many documents which I think is unnecessary, e.g. my passport. What will happen if I am not a US citizen.

Jose is a great person and knows the mortgage business well. He offers many different options unlike other brokers who try to steer you to the products they want to sell or know best. I would have like his support staff to be more communicative as it would have expedited things. Overall my goals were achieved in the end.
