My experience was fine/average and your responses don't allow for that as a choice. I did not have a bad or negative experience, it just wasn't worth saying it was "GREAT." I didn't get too much updating throughout the process but it was completed in a timely manner and I did enjoy the welcome phone call from the customer service gal. I probably wouldn't refer your company just because I have local lenders that I prefer to work with.

Kat did a great job of communicating and going the extra miles even during odd hours.

Nothing against Steve but the UW ruined this experience by requiring the appraiser to go back out to the property because the water heater only had 1 strap on it. This was a conventional loan. Not only did the UW flag this but then a picutre of the water heater with 2 straps was not acceptable. The UW required the appraiser to back to the property the day we were closing. I did not hear anything from Steve in regards to this issue either. I will not do business with New American

Review by Michael Hecker for Tonya Funding

First, to clarify it was Tonya we loved working with Tonya last year when we first purchased our home and she guided us through the process. This time was frustrating and misleading. We were told initially by Hass Mouzahem we would not have closing costs. So, we were surprised when the notary requested $1,165 for closing costs. NOT A GOOD SURPRISE. You need to let your clients know what $dollar amount is needed to be prepared and not shocked. A check list including the $$ needed for closing

Not sure who's fault is was, but it really does not matter. Was promised something that the company was unable to deliver.

Mark Gardner was great. Answered all my questions and helped along the way. On the other hand the team working with him took ages to get all the correct documents. It took over 40 days to close on a house, and I had to extend 2 times on my home to final get in. There is also a charge on the closing documents I am trying to get fixed and I have yet to hear anything back. Mark told me he spoke to the VP and it was a approved to be taken off but has not. I HAD TO CLOSE ON MY HOUSE WITH THIS CHARGE!

Review by Connie Blanke for Beau Charbonneau

There was not much communication from the entire lending team during the process. When we got to the end of the process to prepare for closing it seemed that between 3 different people nobody had all the information they needed to share where we were at. Two termite inspections were sent and the added twice on the closing statement which was corrected but wasted time. The last 5 days were spent in unknown waiting and the client had to contact Beau to get an answer if we could close or not, wh
