I feel like there was a lot of lack on communication not only by Marco but by the senior advisor Maira as well. However I can not lie Marco did tried to help us a lot but sometimes I would call him or text him and won’t hear back from him in days. The closing date was not discussed with me until my insurance company told me about it.

Clearer and more consistent communication with the APR and cash back amounts. Started out strong, with good information but when forms came to be signed they were different then discussed so we tried to contact lender to get cleared up before we signed and that delay cost us a 1% interest rate which was frustrating.

Communication was slow and confusing. Sending the same documents on 4 different occasions when once would have been sufficient made the process slow and painful. The process would have gone smoother had the issue of a second kitchen been explained in the beginning of the process rather than at the end making it stressful during an already stressful time. When I suggested just moving appliances out it should have been agreed on and not wait to see what underwriter and inspector decided. When I asked about sending pictures to show appliances removed I was told that inspector had to inspect himself and then later it was decided to just send pictures. I do look forward to working with New American Funding in the future while making mortgage payments and hope the experience is better.
