My partner and I were in the process of purchasing our first home and had a disappointing experiencing with Michael Thompson. We received below average customer service and poor communication. We feel as though our time had been wasted as it had been 5-6 months of no progress during the process. Due to this we were highly dissatisfied with the way things went with. Our call with Wally Rutecki notifying him of our change gave us the impression that we just another customer. I would NOT recommend

Please do the Real Estate community a favor and strip Roberts lending license from him. I have nothing personal against Robert however, everyone on this file (Escrow, Buyer, Tc and I) all agree that his lack of communication and knowledge helped turn a "21 day escrow" into a 60+ day. I have text and email records to prove his incompetence and blatant lack of communication. There were numerous road blocks during the purchasing process of this home. Initially, the appraisal was postponed without my consent after the inspection negotiations took a few days. Then the appraisal was not rescheduled reasonably. Then they were still asking me for financial documents from me and my accountant on the last days before closing, in the middle of tax season. Fortunately, I was able to accomodate their requests, but overall seemed unprepared and disorganized.
