It took longer than I thought it should’ve With the amount I put down and my credit ratings I thought it would be faster It would have been nice to get a list of everything needed upfront and not something new wanted everyday I a glad it is complete and thank you for getting it done

The online process was easy to navigate and use. I appreciated the advice about assuming loans and the pleasant people to work with. The only thing I would recommend would be to let customers know in advance when a Docusign is coming and what it is about. Sometimes I wasn't sure what it was for. I also received fraudulent Docusign emails that I almost clicked on. I think they must be able to detect when you are signing a bunch and they bad guys throw some in. I appreciate all of your help. Thank you!

This was my third home loan and seems I was clueless with how locking in a rate worked. My past two were straight to the point and here is your interest rate. This one I had to choose my rate. The whole time I didn't want to bring much money to closing but seem the number kept getting bigger everything. Lee was very helpful. I think the interest rate information needs to be broken down to a level buyers would understand. Thank you for everything.

a little more hand holding in the process and a little more transparency with the conventional loan switch to FHA.

This is the third house I've bought, plus I've done a refi, so I know the process is intensive. But there were just too many unnecessary hoops to jump through. Having numerous forms sent to me with instructions, to print, have both my wife and I sign, scan in, and email back when DocuSign exists added a ton of aggravation to the experience. There were also a couple of things that popped up at closing that no one told me ahead of time, namely that I was going to have to prepay my year of homeowners insurance when I'm not escrowing. Now I have to go back to my agent and tell them to remove the insurance from my billing account for the year, and then restart it when it runs out. I would've prepaid it if someone had told me, but now you've just given me extra work to do. I'm not even sure if this is on your end, so disregard if so, but the closing date and time and location being dictated to us when we both work full time and my job is entirely in office was horseshit. I assumed Northbrook was picked because it was kind of a midpoint between us and the sellers--and the time because that's what worked for them--but they weren't even there. The place (Chicago Title) has an Oak Park location, which is where we both work. Why is this just dictated to the people who are, you know, the customers? And if the answer is, Well you could've said something, why is it presented as Your closing is at this time at this place, and not any question of Does this work for you? Lastly--and apologies for the long-ass response--your survey needs a little work. The first two questions are fine, pretty standard Likert scale stuff. But the question to rate the processor is unfair to her and your survey taker, because you should not use Excellent, Good, Poor without an Fair option. I rated Kristen a Poor on one of them when in reality it was fair, but it certainly wasn't Good. Alternatively, if you want to use a three point scale, then it should be Good-Fair-Poor, which is plus-neutral-minus and more aligned with how people actually think about their experiences. Still, I will definitely work with Roy again, I just hope you guys have some of these things cleaned up by then.

I rated Mark Ray low because I assume I worked with his staff but never had a conversation with him that I'm aware of. I worked with Moustafa and Heather was my processor. The process was grueling, expensive and time consuming but they were pleasant to deal with and Heather pulled out all the stops to close before my extended trip out of the country which I really appreciated. So overall, I am pleased.
