Calls backs were horrible and take for every. I called both Ti. And Deborah multiple ti.es and still haven't heard from them. It's been two weeks and NO returned phone call. I can wait to refinance again and get away from this company and I haven't even made.my first payment

The use of the portal felt unnecessary as everything I uploaded was asked repeatedly to Be sent again. Contact with the loan officers was not always helpful. Most of my questions went unanswered. Overall the process is frustrating and you should work on better explaining the process, especially for first time homebuyers training that was required. My day of closing should’ve been told to me to be completed at the beginning of this process as it would have provided a lot more clarity, also I was never clear on where I was going for my closing and signing paperwork. My first closing date got pushed back, almost 2 weeks due to misinformation on evidence needed, and then I was also told I might not even receive the moment at all, which should not even be possible to find out on the day of this process was extremely stressful, and I did not feel supported by your organization at all, and I would not likely refer anyone in the future.

My unpleasant experience was more because of the loan rep Ryan Stewart. I explained to him that I have a very complicated portfolio and that I needed the loan done before the end of June. He said even through it would be cutting it close it could be done. I trusted that he was on it and didn't ask a lot of question in the beginning process but when it came time to close all the sudden I was asked for a ton of information, much of which was existing information that could have been collected well ahead of time. He then tried to blame the delay on me not paying the appraisal quick enough, when I looked back it was paid within 48 hours of the request. I was fortunate enough to have a hard money lender that gave me a grace period but that was never something I was allowed to have in writing. The loan closed July 15th, the very last day of the grace period. It makes me look incredible bad when I couldn't meet the first deadline and only closed the last day of the extended deadline. I want a lender that is able to give me realistic expectation and preforms they way they said they would preform. I feel like he told me he could get it done before the end of June just to get me to go with him instead of being realistic.

your computer program you switched to is horrible! computer generated "action needed" items are either not applicable to your account or unable to find because when you log into your account you see "You're all caught up" When trying to call/ email/text Justin to assist in the matter, you would get no response or maybe a very late response. I personally like Justin, I think his personality is wonderful, but I suspect his workload is over loaded.

We had numerous number issues regarding all of the documents we were instructed to sign. We felt very uneasy as we had to read word for word to make sure everything was correct. When information wasn't correct, we had to ask multiple times to change things or we were told to "just sign it and it'll change later". - We had incorrect numbers regarding the lower interest we paid for on the final document (costing us more when it was not) -Ernest money was not included in our final closing cost, concerning us for an increased amount of money at closing - Appraisal amount was outside of the 48hour window which is concerning as we had to sign and get information in a timely manner, but somehow during this process it was not reciprocated - Asking multiple times to change our down payment percentage and it taking us longer to wait and sign - We were asked in the beginning if we would be willing to take a new homebuyer class. We were open to it, but no other information was said about it until we decided to change our down payment percentage. As soon as it was changed, we had 48hrs to finish the course which was not told to us when changing the down payment. I had to send a wire within 24 hours of closing and I got a call at 12:45pm AFTER I had wired the money regarding the appraisal amount was on the incorrect side of the document. This issue caused us to have to bring a personal check of $495 to closing. While we were able to pay for these things off hand as we have the means to do so, not everyone can be as flexible with the numerous mistakes that were made. In total, if we (the buyers) wouldn't have caught these issues there would have been a $9,100 difference that we would have to pay EXTRA for. We trusted everyone during this process as first time homebuyers. We unfortunately cannot say we had a great experience with New American Funding. While we understand people make mistakes, the amount of mistakes made during our process was awful. We hope someone can learn from this issue and hopefully have a new homebuyer NEVER go through this again.

Final numbers were different than what was discussed. Broker seemed offended when buyer shopped for another company.

There wasn’t much communication after the initial application. It was difficult to know what issues were coming up, minimal communication regarding a change in appraiser. Then there was minimal communication after the appraisal report was received by the lender- I had to make contact and ensure that things were moving forward more than once. We were under contract on another property and waiting for this loan to close, so the lack of communication made it difficult to keep that deal together. Miranda was very kind and I appreciated her getting things on track when I reached out.
