The closing was delayed due to a document needed to get USDA to commit the loan. I did not learn about this until hours prior to closing. The document was dealt with and it was closed the next business day. I do acknowledge that USDA loans are somewhat tedious, the lack of communication was the real issue. I know Dan was frustrated at the situation as was I, and many times these issues are out of our hands, but communication should always be paramount.

Rogelio provided great information when we were in his office speaking with him. To me there seemed to be a lot of lack of communication when I was not at Rogelio’s office. I was asked a lot of questions throughout the loan process or asked to provide additional information for my loan. Which some of it was redundant. I would be told certain paperwork would be sent out on a certain day but the paperwork did not make the deadline. Overall I think the experience could have been a little better.

I didn’t really deal with Jim but Chris Drager on his team was extremely helpful. He went above and beyond on making this process run smooth. When I asked for help above him job description, because this was first time purchasing a home, if he didn’t know the answer he still helped me get it.

Reginald was great and if he ever switched companies I would give him a glowing review however after him communication was horrid and he often had to press information I was asking for. I would not reccomend new american funding to anyone. I will NEVER use you again. Things went on way to long and I am at the risk of losing house insurance because nothing was done in a timely manner and there were way too many hoops to jump through. You outsource way too much I believe. When I was asked for things they needed it that day within hours. That is not how life works. I can't leave my job to do all kinds of running and then all the back and forth with underwriting was ridiculous. To top it all off New American funding cost me $500 in housing insurance for late payment.
