Worst company on the planet! They bought my home loan from another company. Now since they can't find the paperwork I have to jump through all these hoops on the phone or via the many letters I get per week. Sadly I can't do anything about it since again they bought my loan.

I spoke with Matthew (NMLS# 838672) about a refi to get lower my mortgage time frame. I have over 20k in the bank account mind you and proved that. I have a low mortgage 80k, on a house that is worth 260k. This man calls my phone and emails me 100 times a day even when I ask not to be called while I am at work ( didn't listen). Everything is great it is all approved per his email the night before, somehow at 7 am it is not. I get a nice email that states," Thank you for applying but it is not approved bye bye now". What a scam. I should have listened to the other terrible reviews. Now I am concerned about my bank information and if it is safe.

The important part is I finally got the house. After several delays that could have been avoided or addressed sooner.... the end goal was accomplished. That being said It was a very unpleasant continuous game of phone tag And I strongly believe the underwriters had dropped the ball several times. I felt like the only thing that I didn’t give them, for the loan application....was a blood sample! It was a five month nightmare! The sellers waited so long for this loan to be processed that they had threatened on a few occasions, to squash the deal. I absolutely would not recommend.... but I will restate, that I did get the house in the end. I am grateful for how hard some people worked on this loan but not at all for how long it took.

A regrettable experience! Our appraisal came back astonishingly low due to condition and view. We contested this and the appraiser responded by saying that other homes were superior in condition and listed the addresses. it turns out that these are new homes so of course they are nicer. They also were not the same homes used for our appraised value. Lastly, it was another comment that was laughable. While trying to further explain the lower value the appraiser notes stated that another comp home offered a "superior view". Huh?? We are in a >$300k home with a typical view of other neighborhood homes and approved HOA landscaping. New American Funding basically shrugged their shoulders. We have decided to withdraw our application to refinance rather than debate this with them further. Stunning.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!! Completely AWFUL. They cost us our home. They do NOT listen to their buyers. They tell you that you don’t have to pay for the appraisal upfront then they order it whenever they feel like it and expect you to pay anyway! They HOUND their buyers a million times a day, screw up deals, DON’T CARE!! Dealt with a lot of loan companies and this one is BY FAR the worst, most UNPROFESSIONAL, SELFISH people I have ever encountered. ANY OTHER LENDER IS BETTER!!!!!
