I am not sure the issue was with Ahmad as much as the fact he is an out-of-town lender made the process much more “confusing” than we are accustomed to with local lenders. There seemed to be additional steps to take and more fingers pointed than I’m used to. There were things that came up which I don’t believe he was familiar with as he is out of state. I am also not used to having separate loan processors in the same transaction. We prefer to develop closer more reliable relationships here.

Communication... No one answered my questions within a reasonable time frame. Closing was delayed several times, each time I was informed by the closing attorney.

Communication. It was there somewhat but when there was no response to my emails, I needed to initiate a call to leave a message and Eric did call back. We didn't receive very many hard copy LSUs that should come weekly automatically. I had to ask for an LSU every time. Eric was pleasant to work with when I did speak with him on the phone and he did follow through on the requests I had.

Be more detailed when speaking with customers. This was my first time ever getting a mortgage loan. Whenever, I asked a question, made me feel like it was a stupid one and I should already know. But again being a first time buyer, I did not know anything. Also, I felt like I was always being rushed off the phone even when I had more questions.

I was initially impressed with Rebecca’s promptness in answering my questions about buying my first home. But over the course of the house-buying process Rebecca had to ask me multiple times the same questions for the same loan application, and had I not addressed her immediately reguarding some discrepancies our loan would have been delayed. Communication was very poor near the end of the process and I was not thrilled with my first home buying experience.

When we first locked our rate, I hardly even understood what that meant yet, and was frantically texted while driving to work asking for my approval. Communication was a challenge the whole way through. Kim likes to speak in jargon without translating, and that makes it all inaccessible for anyone not in the business. Everything was communicated in what felt to me like a near panic. We may not have needed to switch from one loan type to another if communication had been better before locking.

Respond time to client should be 1-2hrs not the next day. The Mortgage rate that this company was providing was high for someone with a great credit in my opinion, I could have gotten a better rate from other lender but I didn’t have enough time. Buying out the mortgage insurance issue. I kept reminding and remiding the lender that I would like to pay off the mortgage insurance and at the end they forgot to add it. When I spoke to escrow they said, nobody told them about it.

For this being our second experience with a mortgage lender You would think it would be less stressful but for some reason it wasn’t ,We feel it was not personal that it was just a process . Maybe Instead of just a email showing the loan progress ,A phone call would’ve gave us reassurance of our status. The most frustrating part was the lack of communication, making us travel from Colorado and were not able to close, causing us not to be present to receive the keys and shake the sellers hand.
