I was not told until my closing date that there was a possibility of my mortgage being over $100 more than what I was expecting. That caused my closing to be delayed. when it was finally time to close, my closing statement was off by $1500 because they didn’t do the math right so I owed even more money than what I was expecting. Overall I felt like I was being taken advantage of. Worst closing experience ever.

I was not treated as a valued customer. Communication was terrible and when I tried to find out the status of the Loan I never received a response. Mr. Wright went on Vacation and I did not know until my relator contacted management because we were not getting a response. I was suppose to close on 12/11/20 but because of the delay in communication I wasn't able to close until 12/17/20. The whole team did not seem to care that they provided poor service.

Worst nightmare of a loan...too many problems to even write about in this review. The biggest problem by far is a legality issue... our refinance/debt consolidation loan funded on 10/30 and checks didn’t get written to our creditors until 11/17. I realize this wasn’t Patrick’s direct fault but he should see the loan through from beginning to end being that he was our loan officer.

Consistently received incorrect disclosure paperwork with with old information or miscalculations and the delay in communication with the head of the team was unacceptable to the point that I had to rely on another lender at the same company to make my loan happen. Thank you Pam Rios for all your hard work in getting me through this

I never spoke to Mike once.

I've purchased 4 homes and refinanced 3 times and this was the most disorganized and unnecessarily elongated refinance experience I've every undergone. The entire team was uncommunicative, unorganized and slow. To find out anything I would have to reach out myself only to hear anything a week our more later. The amount of documentation requested was excessive and spread out so widely we nearly lost our lock. I will NEVER recommend New American to anyone.

I’ve used NAF at least 3 other times and this was the worst experience by far. Horrible communication, wouldn’t answer all my questions, quoted me one thing at the beginning and was given something totally different later even though nothing changed. In the past, the LO’s would take the time to explain my options, provide status updates and always answer my questions without any hesitation. Won’t be using this lender again

Initially Ashley K. was very nice, however she was not very honest. She stated that she would look at the documents we submitted and get back to us. Thankfully we checked with multiple lenders because Ashley didnt return my call. I called her to get a status update for our application, and was once again told that she would call back the same day. Well it never happened. I received a blast email and decided to let her know I received funding elsewhere. She will pull your credit and disappear!
