Diana was great when we spoke on the phone, but I felt like I had to initiate those phone conversations because email communication was not always as quick as I would have liked (within 1-2 business days). The entire refinance process also took 4 months, which was much longer than expected. Since the process was delayed/slower than expected, it would have been nice to have some additional communication on next steps and timeline. Thank you for your help Diana, we did close on a successful refi.

I chose to proceed with New American primarily because of Kat - she was absolutely awesome during the early stages. However by the end of the process - even now - two weeks after the close I am so upset with the way she and her colleague Marilyn Greene handled the deal. It could have been Marilyn that dropped the ball and Kat that picked up the pieces but I certainly wouldn't go through it again.

People keeping in contact with you let you know what’s going on instead of waiting weeks before you hear from them and making sure that you get a proper estimate on payments we started out at 30 years wound up going to a 20 year then they charge me more points and upped the fees then it took another couple of weeks and then they charge me more fees and the points and charge me to have a desk appraisal chart done On my property it took over two months to get things done
