Processing was extremely slow. The processor waited a week to request conditions which caused an extended 2 week delay. I was not told an accurate number for lender fee's. I was told there would be no lender fees for my client & turns out there absolutely was, thankfully my client had funds to close. The experience with New American funding was the absolutely unacceptable in lending. Communication was very low, we were constantly wondering what was going on with processing. Not likely to refer.

I repeatedly had to submit the same documents over and over and over. On a couple occasions when I reached out for help I did not receive a response. When things changed I had to follow up to find out why, it was never proactively explained.

Too many interruptions to gather information and process was completely inefficient. I am a tax and transactional attorney and this is the most piecemeal operation that I have ever been involved in for a simple residential Closing. We have done reverse tax free like-kind exchanges with multiple property that have gone smoother.

I work with New American Funding locally on a regular basis, we have a lender we prefer there. In this transaction I was not regularly updated, nor was my client. Both my client and I had to email multiple times and hope for a response. Also, after we closed, several days later, I received notification that the loan was cleared. The communication was nonexistent.

We were told 1) we could consolidate debt with loan, then told we couldn't. We were told we wouldn't have to pay PMI with a full 3% down, then told we would. These were very impactful "misinformations".

My transaction was during the covid 19 pandemic. They kept asking for the same documents in different format over and over. It became very frustrating. I would call and it take them days to get back to me. I didn’t feel like I was a priority. My closing date was changed several times and when we did close I received paperwork from the homeowners insurance that reflected the wrong date. I had it corrected myself. I would never recommend this company to anyone, just the opposite..

I was very disappointed in the inaccuracies. Spelling of my name, date of closing issues, the inaccuracies in the documentation at closing. I don't know if it was due to Bridgette or other factors so please take this review with a grain of salt.
