The process was easy to complete just time consuming.

Proper communication and updates. We never received updates on the status of our loan and when additional documents were needed, we would find out at the last minute. Also, when we asked for items like our credit report or other documents, it would have been nice to receive them the first time we asked instead of the 5th or 6th time. Our closing was moved multiple times and ultimately was pushed back a week because we were never updated on additional documents that were needed.

I've been told at least 3 times that the loan was done and being funded. Then I was told to jump through another hoop. I signed closing doc's 3 times. The girl was 1.5 hours late then that night had to come back because she didn't have me sign everything. Then another guy came days later and again I had to resign paper. If I got paid for my wasted time you'd owe me money. If it wasn't for Gina I was going to cancel the loan and even stop payment on the appraisal Mariam needs to tell people

We were sent numerous emails from different people. We never really knew who our "contact" person was. We were told we had to withdraw money from our investments and put it in our checking account. When I spoke to my banker they said they could have wired the money straight to them. We also had to scramble at the last minute and go to our back on a Friday at 4pm to have the money wired ourselves. It was stressful to say the least. The worst closing experience I've ever had.

I thought SR had my back and I put all my trust in him. The number one thing he said to me was dont worry I WILL MIRROR your previous policy and make sure your payments come down to that 2.75. I stressed to him most importantly I need to make sure there is enough in my escrow to cover my taxes and insurance. I made the mistake and did not zoom in on that the home owners insurance was not in fact being taken out and that I would pay it out of pocket. He knew all of the above was the deal brkr

In addition to getting requests for documents we had already provided to NAF, there was zero communication or follow up. We endured multiple delays that were always the fault of Underwriting or someone else. We had our closing scheduled only to then find out it was being pushed back a month. We applied for the loan in December and had the property identified. I've been working in Real Estate for 25 years and have bought and refinanced numerous properties and I have never experienced this.

We’ve purchased a dozen houses or more, and this was by far the worst experience we’ve ever had. We applied in December and closed in May, and delays were 100% NAF. The house belonged to a friend, we have credit scores over 800, and the price was less than what one of us makes in a year - should have been the smoothest transaction ever. Lost documents, repeated credit hard inquiries, multiple changes in who we dealt with under Sam. It cost us lost rental revenue thanks to delays.
