Scott Monroe and Shea Richardson individually were very good to work with. My ratings are not a reflection on Scott and Shea personally, but rather a reflection on the experience with New American Funding's underwriting. Underwriting showed no regrd to the buyer, seller, the seller's buyer on their transaction. Every day for two weeks was a request for the answer to some new petty question. Example: Did I charge my wife renty to lie with me. Example: When was the buyer's name last Green? We have been married for 36 years. The underwriter impressed me as a new rookie who was afraid to make a final decision asnd kept trying to think up something new to avoid making a decision.

Communication was not always appropriate, Lauren came in at the end and did as well as she could. I was still receiving close documents even after I had completed the close process. Underwriting was LESS than communicative and could only handle one thing at a time instead of providing a list of pending items. Made the process excruciateingly long!

See prior response. Local NAF personnel were helpful, but underwriting and processing were unsatisfactory. I work in consumer lending myself and was very surprised at how poorly the process went.

client indicated that they were confused many times about the process. I think I only spoke to Arnold maybe three times during the whole transaction. We made it to the end so that's all that's important now.
