Eric started off great and was very responsive. However, once we began the loan process the communication started to dwindle and became basically nonexistent the closer we got to the closing date. We have been contacted by 3 different members of Eric's team mostly to ask for information on documentation that was previously provided. Eric advised us and our realtor on several occasions that we could move up our closing date because our file was complete. The next day we would get a new condition to meet and we're no longer clear to close. This happened on more than one occasion. This actually led to our closing day getting PUSHED BACK a day. We found out that our closing date had changed by the title company. Eric did not even have the courtesy to advise us of this change himself. Naturally we were upset by this because we had planned our work schedule and moving schedule around a closing date that was no longer valid. Out of all our home buying experiences this was by far the most stressful experience we have had. Nothing is worse than not knowing what is going on or to be told one thing only to have it change the next day.

very disappointed with the customer service and honoring there words. the interest rate change, closing cost went double, add points and apply hidden fees on the final stage of the process. very careful with this company, they say one thing and do other things.

First being upfront with customers not feed us b******* always onto of beings asked for things that made no sense and to send escrow to cut checks with no account #s having now us as customers ti relay this info,so all this info to loan team was a waste of time horrible

Clear communication and if there was a failure or misunderstanding except responsibility. Also know how the system operates. It’s not based exclusively on your personal experience. The world is bigger than that. Know your job.

Scott was nice and friendly in the beginning. However, he failed to communicate underwriting requirements for pre-approval in the beginning, then failed to communicate with me for weeks. The week of closing he finally called and said I needed an additional $15K to close and pay off disallowed co-signed debts that he'd originally said would be fine with less than 12 months history (then claimed he told me that- I am very thorough and write everything down.) Despite several email attemts to get underwrting updates from him, as well as CC'ing him on every commuication with Jourdan (the underwriter) for weeks, he claimed he "just got my file back" the Monday before close. Then, the last I heard from him was that Tuesday. We closed on Friday and I never heard from him again. Jourdan Herbst was EVERYTHING in the closing of this loan- she handled the job of Scott and communicated regularly with me. On closing day when our title company continue to wait on closing paperwork well beyond our closing time and hold everyone up, I called everyone trying to reach someone. Jourdan and Brook Bergh handled that immediately. Scott never returned my call let alone assisted. This is my FOURTH LOAN through NAF and I've never had this experience. Please give Jourdan a raise- she was the sole reason this loan closed.
