I was given misinformation by loan officer. When I recommended waiting on locking my rate I was told no I should do it now. They won't drop and they did when I asked if I'm able to take advantage of the lower rate no. The builder credits I was to receive were shorted and I was assured they were all used. Then 20 minutes before closing I needed to come up with 7k additional funds. Unacceptable, and pay additional wire fees after confirming the wire amount with Nancy a few days before. When reviewing the disclosure with her she claimed it's so confusing to read and she'd have to get back to me with regards to my questions. It's very unnerving being so late in the process and for her to totally act like my money doesn't matter. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

if you say call your client today, call him/her today. if you say you will not leave your office without calling your client, do it then. Poor communication. It was the first time with New American Funding and it is the last time too.

Matthew was pushy, rude, and did not respect my boundaries. one day i was incredibly sick and already had one call with him, and asked him to provide an update through text or email since I wasn't feeling well. He completely ignored that and called me anyways to give me an update that could've easily been sent in writing. I got a call after my first survey and a request to update my feedback but I will not be discussing or changing my responses.

Do whatever you want I dont care because as soon as I'm avaliable to finance again im going with a new company. Was forced into a refinance. Poor to no communication at all. Everytime I had a question I would get a incoherent or indecisive answer. Would even get talked down to and got my b*** chewed out like it was my fault because your company kept dropping the ball. I told many people and asked for a new loan officer to file my upcoming paperwork for my disability rating. No longer eanted any contact from sam if you ever want another payment and yet sam still contacted me. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER and have made sure to tell everyone bout my experience.

Quin is very hard to get in touch with , specially when you need him , he dose not answer that call mostly at all , and as well for the txt msg , he is not aware about the market states and rates, he is not accurate about the rates, he is very poor in following up regarding the appraisal, he is no a proactive, full of negative surprises, always has an excuses about the POOOOOOOR communication, As per the marketing science the positive word of mouth spread out to 4 people, the negative spread to 25 People, so every one in this deal , me , realtors and sellers had a hard time because of Quin un responsibility, so you can imagine how dose he destroying his company image I HAVE NO IDEA HOW HE IS AN AREA MANAGER

The loan team did not listen to my concernes and evidence. As a result I was forced to pay and overpay a debt that was in dispute or I would not be able to close on the home as it was stated to me. There was documentation that showed that the information was incorrect based on payment history. If you can look at the history and payments to justify my accounts, where my money came from and question me as if I was a criminal, then you could have taken the time to look at the evidence and operate in the same manner of scrutiny. This team also question my reserve funds that had nothing to do with the transaction funds. I provided the supporting documentation but again if you could go to that extent to question if the money exists, then you could have ensured I was not being cheated as I was. The team could have taken the time to review the evidence that I provided to show that this "debt" was in dispute and incorrect. As a disabled, African American, age protected class individual, I feel my loan was scrutinized at a different level than other potential applicants. This is my belief. I do not have hard proof because I did not review other applications. However, I hope at some point this entity is audited and I hope that I am incorrect. In addition, my loan was not processed correctly, I was provided with documentation that I had to sign post closing that should have been signed prior to. My loan was not cleared to close until the day before closing. I will never use this company's services again. I will definitely tell my friends and family to never use this company. I feel that they were not working for me but against me and in thier best interest to facilitate them selling the loan.

Major issues experienced: Quoted me a significantly inflated interest rate, despite having an 800+ credit score. Held the appraisal until the final day of my appraisal contingency, using a highly questionable comparable property in the report. Misrepresented the loan’s progress, stating it was on track while withholding “clear to close.” Waited until the day before closing to raise concerns about schooling and employment, despite having six weeks to review my file. Required last-minute documentation from third-party providers under intense time pressure due to lender inaction. Issued “clear to close” only on the afternoon before closing, causing undue stress and uncertainty. On closing day, after I had already signed papers and was seated with all parties, I received a call about another issue — a major problem that a staff member later admitted should never have occurred. Original loan officer entered incorrect information in my file, creating unnecessary complications and delays. Communication throughout the process was misleading, inconsistent, and lacked accountability. Repercussions of this negligence: This was the most shaming, humiliating, and embarrassing mortgage experience I have ever had. My friend, who is an existing customer and referred me to New American Funding, is mortified and will never use your services again. I plan to refinance with a different lender as soon as possible to sever ties. The realtors, attorneys, and sellers involved will warn future clients to avoid New American Funding. Your team’s delay tactics ensured I was too deep in the process to change lenders, which feels manipulative and unethical. The seller was clear to close a full week before closing; only your team caused delays. It appears retaliation may have occurred after I questioned the rate and the delayed appraisal, which is deeply concerning. Final remarks: There is no excuse for the level of disorganization and mistreatment I endured during this process. Do not bother apologizing — an apology without accountability is meaningless. This was not an accident; it was a pattern.
