Several things had to be resent or questions asked several times that were already answered previously. It was very stressful.

For me to be a first time home buyer my experience was very unpleasant and unsettling. Me writing this review was not so much on Summit mortgage on the experience that I had. There were a lot of bumps in the road that I felt as though could’ve been handled a lot more better and more sufficient.

Not a lot of interaction with Robert. After giving consent for credit check and agreeing to the terms we didn’t really hear much from him. I was surprised we had a fee to pay for closing.

My dealing with Robert himself was all very good. Once we got to the point where the loan was approved the "closing team" was very apoor. For reasons unbeknown to me, they repeatedly had to get payoff balances for two weeks in a row which pushed us past the expiration date on the interest rate. I had to pay an additional fee for the extention. Twice I was called to sign the closing papers and was not notified the appointments were canceled so they could get new payoff updates. Very unprofession

The process was slow at the beginning then I felt like I had to rush at the end to get all the documents on time for closing. Need to pace things in a timely manner.
