I have been a very active agent for 24 years, and this was an experience that I thouhgt was gone as people are more conscientious in the lending world these days. I never got any communications, and someone missed the appraisal having a condition on it to get into the crawlspace. I surely thought this would have been viewed by you and underwriting in a timely fashion to be cleared to close on time, expecially since this is FHA! It should have had double the scrutiny. I had to find this out from the agent, and it was very late in the transaction. I think she had concerns about the communication too. You had to get the appraier back out, remove the condition, and get the appraisal back to underwriting for the CTC. This cost my sellers time and money. Sarah has to pull more than 1 pay off she told me costing her a total of $100 due to the delay. I had to also pay $150 fee as we were set to close at 10am on the contract closing date, and the agent was not avilable until 5:30 2 days in a row for the possible new closing date, and we could only do this in the morning per per schedules. I am pretty steamed by that. No one explained nor took ownership of any errors or delays, and this is more important than the mess up, in my opinion This got delayed over a week and was super frustrating and costly.

I understand that mortgage companies are struggling with the new processes required, government oversight always makes things harder. However I as the customer would appreciate being read into the situation especially when it is concerning my loan and my money.

Faster more expedited process. Better communication. The bank checks were written from, returned payments with return fees $28 each. This process of multiple checks is disrespectful, Each check had to pay certified mail $10x11 checks to send to creditors. I could have paid accounts already. Some still pending weeks later after continuing to make payments on accounts. Never again

Jing was very responsive to emails and he commiunication throughout the process was excellen. Jing was very Off when it came to estimating our closing costs to the point we lost money. We ended up having to amend our offer to 4k less due to our loan being a fha loan and too much cash being left over. My realtor did speak to Jing about this prior to our first offer to the seller, but Jing insisted we won't be over with cash at the time we close. We had an overage of $6,800 . In the end we lost over $4,000. Again her response time was excellent she was always friendly, but no one wants to lose money and we did .

Reduce the number of different people a client has to deal with. Also, you need to shorten the process time. My loan took 6 months to finish.

My experience with NAF was very poor. I was pingponged between multiple people handling my case. I went from needing a 0$ down payment to 960$ payment. Each new person kept saying they found a better deal, which cost more money because inspections I paid 500$ for weren't needed because the loan was no longer FHA. With each new iteration of the loan, my interest rate kept increasing. At first it was around 6.2, at final it was 7.4. If I wasn't in a time crunch for completing this offer, I would have went to another company. I feel scammed and poorly treated. I hate giving low reviews to Patrick, but I had little to no communication. Somehow he got it done though. Diane did her best with a terrible situation and was the only person who seemed to have any idea what was going on. Nobody has communicated when my first payment will be and how I will be paying, which feels like Sabatoge to make me have a late payment. Communication with NAF to thier customers is abyssmal.

I have questions on some checks that was sent to me and I need the names changed on them. Vantage Point the lender said I would have to have Chris contact them. There is also 2 different charges for my homeowners insurance that I emailed Chris about (again Vantage Point told me to) and can not get an answer, feels like since they got the loan they aren't as quick to return phone calls or

As a first-time homebuyer, one of my biggest challenges was communication throughout the process. The steps were not clearly outlined, which left me feeling uncertain and confused at multiple points. When issues did arise, responses felt casual and lacked true accountability -more of an “empathize and move on” approach rather than clear problem-solving. While the process ultimately was completed, the lack of clarity and proactive guidance made the experience unnecessarily stressful.
