During the entire process, it didn't seem like Miss Gutierrez was very experienced with dealing with VA loans. If she had a little more experience with VA loans, the process would have gone much smoother. Having said that, Miss Gutierrez was an extremely friendly and helpful agent throughout the entire process. I would much rather deal with a nice person with less experience than an experienced person with a horrible attitude.

The promotional offers that you were offering on the radio show I never did receive any and my mortgage payment went from one payment to a different payment. I had to pay for my appraisal and pay a second time for him to just to come out and take a picture of my water heater, when I could have just took the picture and sent in.

He was referred by our realtor. He had great communication with the sellers realtor which helped us get the house. But we never heard from him. After a week we had to contact him for next steps and to get info on rates. He said he did $2000-3000 in closing credits whIch did not happen. He did not communicate well on next steps and got a lot of emails needing things last minute. Efficient and closing occurred but communication not great

I'm very thankful that New American Funding gave us the loan for our house, but there were quite a few times that I was very displeased with the way things were going. I was expected numerous times to get info and documents to them at the last minute and then when I needed to contact them, no one would answer me. There were several very simple (common sense) situations that we couldn't get the underwriters to understand. Our closing date was pushed back over a week late.
