Jim was very polite personally however, would recommend that all required docs be presented up front and all party’s on the same sheet of music !

The loan application was dated April 26, 2020; loan didn't close until July1, 2020! Consistency in communcations: The Loan Officer had my correct email, but didn't communicate it to the Loan Processor, resulting in many requests for information from me going to an old email I no longer use. That cost time and money.

I was asked to resend bank statements several times after already providing the information. Although I assumed everything would be okay, I did not receive final confirmation of my funding status, including the dollar amount I should be bringing to the closing until one hour prior to my closing... via email so I didn’t see it until I was walking into my closing. I believe that providing last minute information like that should only be made by phone to ensure that the client receives the info.

Did not always know who was working the loan - not really close communications during entire process.

The process took longer than expected and the loan costed me more money than I really wanted to pay. Had to pay another fee to extend my lock which I was not aware of.

Underwriter was the major problem. As we got closer to closing, Evan was only the middle man. Manny in Chicago took the ball and ran with it. The underwriter required documents that were either previosly sent or required new documentation to compliment the transaction. We did NOT close on the original date. Funding and recording recorded 5 days later. Evan was personable but needs more experience.
