The first loan officer was unknowable and did not give me correct info. I did not have much communication w the second Alejandro who was assigned to me after a supervisor got involved. The closing was scheduled before ready and I was told docs were sent which was untrue. After repeated calls on my part I was finally told there some escrow information still needed. I closed 5 hours late. There were NO calls from ur mortgage company. Only the title agent. This was very unprofessional

Maybe not taking on so many loan applications that you can’t keep them straight and confusing them and information with other applications.

I communicated with Christian for many months before purchasing my home. During that time, he provided excellent service and patiently taught me about many different aspects of the home buying experience; I felt we had a great rapport for 95% of the time we worked together. However, in the days before closing, Christian became overwhelmed with other work and missed some deadlines, causing the closing to be delayed and costing me several hundred dollars in rental and storage fees.

Closing was pushed back several times to the point I ended up having to pay a late fee for my house payment. Documents were not asked for in a timely manner. I was the one making sure things were done, correctly.

It would have been appreciated if we were pushed more information (i.e. expectations, upcoming needs/steps, timeline estimates, etc.) rather than having to constantly ask for them. The entire process took us much longer than we anticipated (we still have not received the final paperwork on our refinance and we started this process over 4 months ago), which is frustrating. It would have been nice if someone was transparent and communicated this so we could have adjusted our expectations.

I experienced a frequent lack of communication. I addressed this directly with Miguel and he agreed to be more responsive but he really wasn't. I felt like we were left hanging for long periods of time. We were very unhappy with the way the appraisal went. It took weeks after it was paid for to be scheduled. Than the appraisal came back very very low. We were also unhappy that once the loan was funded it took days for our funds to appear in our account. We were not advised of this.
